Was looking forward to the result from this old s40 build I converted to an extended flash. Well the extended flash wasn't much good as I accidentally had the board set to daytime only :oops .
Did manage to get a pile of moose shots.

I'm always amazed by the S40 pics. It is really an underrated camera. Great shots!

Good stuff. The quality of those photos is why I favor the S40 above all other point-and-shoot cameras for builds.

Really nice pics Stone and beautiful country up there. I agree with others on the S40. Tack sharp pics, just below the S600 in flash power and 2 x "AA"s for running them. Next to the S600, my favourite p&s cam.
