Wow! You've got a great set there.

Thanks, it did work out great. I really tried to find a way for the canon or Nikon in this location, but just wouldn't work. Otter are very smart so you can't really disturb the location at all, if I have a blade of grass or limb in the way I have to use a big limb and slowly sweep the area not to leave any scent make it look like it has been disturbed. I was pretty sure they were in the den while I set the camera and was very quiet and careful. I have had otter challenge me when getting too close to their pups, lots of hissing and aggression while I backtrack.

Willy, I took a photo from above the setting to show how difficult it was for setting a camera. It doesn't look like a location for an otter den, but I spotted the otter sign right away from above.

Nice otter shots..they are neat creatures...we have smooth-coated otters here in Thailand that look just like these...I know where there is a den by the river in the sanctuary but will have to wait till November after the rains.

This is first camera trapped otter den I've ever seen. Great pictures too. My hat is off to you. Give us some surprises!
