I've seen PLENTY of AWESOME shots from guys - and I am just wondering if there is a particular tactic or strategy for a set. Here is situation...I have a private pond that has 1000's of frogs. Right now they are mating the water appears to boil as you approach. Without fail the neighboring trees are littered with a variety of raptures and herons. You can see a big red tail in these two pics. The herons are SOOO spooky, I've watched from the back orchard as they walk behind my cams or out of range - it seems they don't want to be anywhere near them. Just wondering if there is anything that I could do to entice them into quality photo range.....

Joe.Put a camera behind your first camera.I don't like seeing another camera in the same pic but most times you can crop it out.You may get some good shots though.

Nice pictures. Herons are waders, so stick to the shallows and cross your fingers.
